Advocacy means supporting somebody to speak up and be listened to, ensuring their views and wishes are heard and taken seriously. Advocacy can enable people to become more involved in important decisions about their health and social care.

Our Advocates help people in the community who have difficulty with communicating their thoughts, needs and wishes. They may also face difficulties with making decisions about things such as how or where they are cared for.

Advocacy can support people to understand their rights, their options, and enable the person to make an informed decision. We help people to live the lives they want to live.

We provide high quality and totally free advocacy support that is completely independent of Health and Social care services.  A significant element of much needed advocacy in local communities is no longer funded and we need the support of local businesses to help us fundraise to provide vital services.

We are a registered charity and have been supporting people across the North West for over 20 years. We are well-known for being pioneers in providing and developing advocacy services and spearheading mental health and wellbeing initiatives in our community. We are not just accredited mental health trainers, but one of the leading experts in advocacy and mental health.

We provide bespoke packages on request to ensure you get the most out of your training, and we always follow up. We believe training is a constant journey.

As evidenced by our being awarded ‘Gold’ in the Mind Workplace Wellbeing Index and being accredited Mental Health First Aid England Training providers, we have the expertise to support you to champion mental health and wellbeing within your organisation. Health and Wellbeing is our key focus; we understand people, we support people to be mentally well and resilient and we are passionate about training you to do the same.
